HISTORY
My grandfather Roger Funderburgh was the first to introduce
my family to the excavating world in 1981 when our family bought
our first backhoe. And then in 1985 Dustin Funderburgh, me,
the son of Ed and Terri Funderburgh, was born into this world. I
grew up with a fascination for farming and the outdoors of
country living. And then in 2000 my grandfather Roger bought
our excavator. We bought it to do random projects around the
farm and in operating this excavator and soon after our newly
purchased pull pan I found a new love and passion other than
agriculture. My grandfather was at this time retired and working
part-time for the family farm. In being close with my grandfather I
saw how much he loved doing what he did on these machines. In
2004 my grandfather passed away suddenly, it left a certain
empty space inside me where he occupied at one time. I search
long and hard for something to fill that void in my life. And then
one day working around the farm I couldn't quit starring at the
excavator that at one time had a smiling man sitting on the seat.
And that was when I decided that it only be fair that my
grandfathers love for excavation not die there but get carried on
to keep a part of him in our lives to remind us of what a
Grandfather, father, and husband he was! Everything from then
on is history.
